About Jessica

Jessica is also a member of the Rockin' Gospel Project, nominated Best Vocal Group 2009 by the Texas Music Awards, who have built a monthly fan favorite event at the world famous Maria's Taco Express (Hippie Church, ya'll). RGP received national attention recently on The Gospel Music Channel's "Kitchen Sink” television show, and will be making their fourth consecutive appearance at the Old Settler’s Music Festival this April.

But the biggest buzz in the Jessica camp right now comes from the Texas Music Awards, who have nominated Jessica, Female Vocalist of the Year 2010, for her performance on You're Country Now in a state-wide polling of over 43,000 nominations! If you haven’t noticed, Texas is quite large.

So this year is off to a great start for the inimitable Miss Shepherd, with her already making TV and radio appearances, gathering more radio play, quickly climbing the Austin Country Charts (over 35 points in the last two weeks!) and hittin’ the big stages in Texas, because that’s where she’s at her best!

See her shows, you’ll find out why she’s one of Austin’s best kept secrets, but not for long…catch you on the road!
